Smoked chicken wings

ingredients:

Chicken wings

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons smoked paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Wood chips for smoking (apple or hickory work well)

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a marinade.

Place chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the wings. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour.

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C), adding the wood chips for smoking.

Remove the wings from the marinade and let them come to room temperature.

Place the wings on the smoker rack and smoke for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), turning them occasionally for even cooking.

Once done, remove the smoked chicken wings from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Enjoy your delicious smoked chicken wings
